Our idea

There are certain things in our lives that leaves traces in our memory … A smell of coffee, a simple melody, sunrise an early morning in a certain city … Normally they are some small moments of everyday life, that not seems special for others. Perhaps they seemed special for us the day we experienced them. But for one or other reason they have got stuck in our memory. And we are feeling something special every time these memories are coming out …

There are so many small moments in our everyday live that we overlooking because og the rush of life we have. SLOW LIVING is something that many of us are dreaming about, but often it feels completely unattainable …

We at Unik og Naturlig would like to contribute a little bit to discover how beautiful and unique are our everyday things. For example something like beach stones. These small stones that are so common and that we have walked on so many times. What beautiful, unique and elegant bracelets they can be transformed to … We at Unik og Naturlig are in constant search for clean, natural and unique products. Products that takes time to produce and products that we will love for many years. Or perhaps possess them to the grandchildrens, such as embroidered baby linen bedding or granny squares crochet baby blanket. Things that reflect quality and old craftsmanship and never goes out of fashion.

Who we are

I have a special love for linen. An amazing natural material which I became familiar with for many years ago and which I fell in love with for the rest of my life … It is so simple and so exclusive at the same time, it has so many amazing natural features that it is a nature itself. And there is also something nostalgic over the linen, it draws my mind back to the time when the everyday life was more simple and when there was time to make home-baked bread, or to embroider a linen bedding …

Therefore a very big part of products at Unik og Naturlig are linen garments for home. We have a large selection of linen tablecloths, the softest linen towels and much more… And of course our linen line for children. Embroidered linen baby bedding and sleeping bags in washed linen. All Unik og Naturlig linen products are made in Europe, at a factory where flax spinning and weaving traditions extend back to the first decade of the last century …

The second part of products at Unik og Naturlig are handmade items from natural materials. We are in  constant search for those in Europe who love pure natural materials and master the old craftsmanship. And who has a passion for handwork. You can see and feel it in the finished products. They are very special people and we love them and what they do: embroidered linen, crocheted rugs, or handmade jewelry …

I hope that our products will bring a small part of nature and SLOW LIVING peace to your home.
